With The Vulva Studio i want to create an empowering and inspiring sanctuary where everyone is invited to celebrate the depth, strength and beauty of The Vulva.
The Vulva illustrations I create are my way of expressing the beauty, creativity, and life force that The Vulva represents. They celebrate the diversity of The Vulva in all her forms and colors, they are a tribute to the strength and beauty of every woman. I want to inspire open conversations and help break the taboo surrounding The Vulva. My intention is to encourage women to love themselves deeply and take pride in their bodies.
For so long, there has been a veil of silence around The Vulva. Many women feel uncomfortable or even ashamed to talk about this part of themselves, and I believe that comes from centuries of patriarchal norms that have told us to hide. This has left a mark on how we connect to our bodies. I feel that this silence can be harmful, impacting our mental and emotional well-being. That’s why I believe it’s so important to create space for these conversations. By doing so, we can empower ourselves and one another, and create more community.
Art is such a powerful tool for change. Through it, we can share stories and experiences that connect us on a deeper level. And when women share their stories, they often find that they aren’t alone—that what they’ve been feeling or experiencing is shared by so many others. That’s where real connection and healing can begin. It’s about lifting each other up, inspire each other and growing together, creating a positive space around The Vulva.
My dream is to see a world where The Vulva is celebrated as a symbol of strength, emotion, as the portal of life that she is. Through The Vulva Studio, I want to create a space where every woman feels seen, heard, and valued. With art and conversations, we can bring forth the powerful stories of women, and inspire future generations to take pride in their bodies and share about their experiences.
